Laura Hersée (b. 1990) is a Dutch/English artist. Her work is playful yet sensual and is often drawn from memories and experiences. With her clean lines she strives to capture the essence of a moment in time. She finds inspiration in symbolism, mysticism and mythology and has a deep curiosity towards the elusive inner world of humans. She works and lives in her native Amsterdam.
